Went to a party last night and I quickly learned why you respect others.

A fight had broken out and the two men (drunk) involved quickly had their ass beaten and were subdued. In the process my mentor [sir] was dragged across the ground and pinned there. Never in my life had I ever wanted to kill someone so badly.

Ultimately, the men were subdued and everyone came out okay (side from a few sucker punches here and there).

What I took away from all of this was the following: You do not disrespect anyone (subs or not) or you will undoubtedly have your ass beaten. I knew that respect was a huge deal in the community but I never realized to what extent. These men, inebriated and stupid, walked into a private party, disrespected a sir as well as myself and my friend and walked away battered, bruised, and bloody.

Thank you sirs and mistresses (all of you) for upholding the meaning of the word ‘respect’ in this community.
